We had never stayed at a Sandals resort before this trip, but for our third wedding anniversary, we wanted something easy to get to, beautiful, and with the flexibility to either unwind or stay active.
So when we saw that Sandals had just opened a brand-new adults-only resort on the island of Saint Vincent and there was a direct JetBlue flight from JFK, we knew we had to go.

From the moment we arrived, we could tell this was going to be different from the typical Caribbean resort experience.
Whether you’ve stayed at Sandals before or this would be your first time, this property offers a more laid-back, off-the-beaten-path version of luxury, with options to do as little or as much as you want.
It’s great for couples looking to reconnect, but also perfect for solo travelers leaning into rest, self-love, and a beautiful place to hit reset.

In this post, we’re walking you through what it’s really like to stay at this all-inclusive resort in Saint Vincent, from the rooms and restaurants to the activities, beaches, and everything we think you should know before booking, especially if you’re wondering whether the price tag is worth it for a special trip or milestone moment.
For reference, we visited in June 2025, and the resort rates started at around $369 USD per person per night. Prices can vary depending on the season ,room category, and availability, so always best to check for most up-to-date pricing on the Sandals website itself.
Getting There: Airport Arrival & Transfer
Getting to Sandals Saint Vincent is straightforward, especially with the included airport shuttle.
The resort is about an hour from Argyle International Airport, and Sandals handles your transfer directly.

If you’re booked in a higher-tier suite (like a butler-level room), there’s also the option of a water transfer. Some guests arrived by 15-minute boat, which felt like a very VIP way to start their stay.
When you arrive at the resort, you’re greeted with a welcome drink and a quick tour to help you get your bearings.
The open-air lobby is the first wow moment: breezy and beautifully designed, with views that stretch from the palm-lined pools all the way to the white sand beach.

And yes, we have to mention the cookies. They’re impossible to pass by without grabbing at least one every time we walk through the lobby.
The Property: A Sandals Resort That Feels (Almost) Hidden
The first thing you notice about Sandals Saint Vincent is how naturally it blends into its surroundings.

The resort is tucked away on the southwest coast of the island in Buccament Bay, with rainforest-covered mountains on one side and the ocean stretching out on the other.
There’s a peacefulness here that hits as soon as you check in. No massive crowds, just space to breathe.

The layout of the resort feels intentionally designed to take advantage of the landscape.
Rooms and restaurants are spread out enough that it never feels busy, and most areas have open-air views of either the ocean or the jungle.
There are multiple pools, quiet beachfront nooks, and plenty of little shaded loungers scattered throughout, perfect if you’re someone who wants to read in peace or just listen to the waves without constant background noise.

You’ll still find the signature Sandals touches like all-inclusive dining, swim-up bars, and an adults-only atmosphere, but this resort trades the usual buzz for something more relaxed and nature-forward.
If you’ve been to the bigger-name Caribbean islands and are craving something a little more off the grid, Sandals Saint Vincent might just be the reset you’re looking for.
Accommodations: Caribbean Comfort, Elevated
Sandals Saint Vincent leans into modern Caribbean luxury.
Think natural textures, open-air spaces, and that seamless indoor-outdoor feeling that makes you never want to leave.

It’s an adults-only resort, and you can feel it: there’s love in the air.
Whether it’s people holding hands on the beach, sunset photo shoots in full swing, or wedding set-ups happening near the water, this place really sells the romantic escape vibe.

We stayed in one of the Lady Palm Swim-Up Pool Suites, and it was genuinely one of the best-designed resort rooms we’ve experienced.
As soon as you step in, you’re welcomed by a media room with a plush couch and big-screen TV, but it doesn’t stop there.
Hidden cabinets along the wall reveal a coffee and tea bar, top-shelf spirits, and a fridge packed with drinks.

We were also greeted with milk chocolate infused with ginger (something I didn’t even know I’d love until that first bite) and some rich dark chocolate. A very thoughtful welcome gift giving us a taste of Vincy.
Continuing into the suite, there’s a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, walk-in shower with three different shower heads (rainfall, handheld, and standard), and a built-in bench for peak relaxation mode.
The Red Lane Spa amenities were ultra-moisturizing and left our skin feeling incredible.
Double vanity, separate water closet, robes, slippers, beach bag that we got to take home, and closet space galore… They really didn’t miss a detail.
The bedroom had a cloud-soft king bed, another lounge area, and sliding doors that led to a private patio.
Outside, there was yet another soaking tub, a comfy seating area, and steps that led straight into the swim-up pool.

And if you want privacy while soaking in the tub? Just pull the curtain.
They thought of everything.
Upstairs rooms share access to the pool via side stairs, but the in-room setup remains pretty consistent across categories, some even come with exercise bikes.
Beyond the Lady Palm rooms, you’ll find beachfront villas, overwater bungalows, and butler suites for every kind of splurge-worthy getaway.

Even without a butler, you’ll have access to a concierge who can handle all your reservations, spa bookings, and questions.

Dining & Drinks: 12 Ways to Eat, All Included
With 12 different dining concepts, you’re not going to get bored, and you definitely won’t go hungry.
Sandals Saint Vincent delivers an all-inclusive dining experience that actually feels curated.

Each restaurant brought something unique to the table, with creativity, local influence, and plenty of variety.
We started our mornings at Parisol, a relaxed beachfront restaurant with double infinity pools in view.

It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and offers a great mix of Caribbean and Western dishes.
I loved seeing breadfruit, callaloo, saltfish, smoked fish, and cassava alongside pancakes and omelets. It felt rooted in the island while still offering comfort food.
Gatsu Gatsu, the Japanese sushi bar, was a standout.

Think spicy crispy shrimp, sashimi, infused sakes, and signature rolls like the Caribbean Dynamite. The Sake Cruiser cocktail with sake, pineapple, and grenadine was my personal favorite.
One of the most memorable dinners we had was at Buccan, a reservation-only, family-style restaurant focused on local flavors.

You’re seated at a table with other couples, which makes it feel more communal than the typical date-night dinner.
Each small plate came out quickly with bold combinations like scotch bonnet pepper sauce on fruit, tender snapper, rich stews, fresh roti, and spicy vegetables.
This one is a must.

As a vegetarian, I was surprisingly blown away by Butch’s, the resort’s steakhouse.
My cauliflower steak was actually my favorite dish of the trip, which says a lot considering the meat-forward focus of this restaurant.
The 30-day aged steak also got rave reviews, and the truffle fries and grilled mushrooms were incredible sides.
Not to mention the flourless chocolate cake and the pineapple upside down. (I will be returning just to have those once again!)

Other dining highlights:
- The Jerk Shack: Jamaican comfort food open for lunch and dinner. We went twice, ordering oxtail, escovitch fish, stew peas, beef patties, roasted sweet potato, festival, and spicy pepper pot soup. If you love bold flavors, this is where you want to be.
- Scrimshaw: Great seafood options like mahi mahi for dinner, conch fritters, and even a lobster omelet for breakfast.
- Sora: Buffet-style breakfast and lunch with more Western fare. Casual but easy.
- Isola & Imoro: Late-night pizza and custom salad stations when you’re feeling snacky.
- Three Jewels Rum Bar: Opens at 10 p.m., dimly lit with board games, local rum flights, light bites like fries and grilled cheese, and a cozy vibe perfect for ending the night.
- Blum and Crema: The on-site coffee shops serve everything from affogatos to baked goods to boozy iced coffees. You’ll want to stop in daily.

And yes, there’s also room service. You really can eat whatever, wherever.

Activities: Do Everything (or Nothing) at All
At Sandals Saint Vincent, you can keep things low-key or stay active all day, whatever pace you’re in the mood for.
Most activities are included, but there are some optional add-ons if you want to go beyond the basics.
They also have bikes available, so you can ride around the resort and stop wherever you want along the way.

Water Activities
We had fun kayaking right off the shore, and there’s a full lineup of water sports available: paddleboarding, snorkeling, Hobie Cats, glass-bottom boat rides, wakeboarding, and more at no extra charge.

They have life vests, and different floaties available too.
If you’re scuba certified, Sandals offers included PADI® dives, which is a solid perk considering how expensive that usually is. If you’re not certified yet, they offer courses at an additional cost.
There’s also SNUBA® if you want something in between snorkeling and diving (also not included).
Land Activities
There are plenty of land-based things to do like pickleball, beach volleyball, bocce, or hitting the gym.
We ended up spending a lot of downtime at the games area, playing shuffleboard, pool, and table tennis.
Lots of fun options that filled the gaps between meals and beach time.

Pool & Entertainment
Some pools are lively with DJs and activities by the swim-up bar, while others are quieter and more romantic, perfect if you’re looking for something more lowkey.

Expect poolside parties, live music, and pop-up shows throughout the week.
There’s usually something going on, but nothing that forces you to participate if you’d rather just sip a drink and relax.
Extras (Not Included)
For those who want to explore beyond the resort, Sandals partners with Island Routes for excursions like boat rides to Tobago Cays or waterfall hikes to Dark View Falls.

Spa treatments at the Red Lane® Spa are also available for an additional cost—and worth considering if you’re in the mood to treat yourself.
Service & Resort Experience
We found the staff to be genuinely friendly throughout the resort. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant servers made us feel welcome.
The resort is small enough to walk from end to end, but if you’re not up for the stroll, there are always golf carts available to shuttle you around.

If you book a higher-tier room, you’ll also have access to a butler who can handle any and everything you could think of.
Even without butler service, our concierge was incredibly helpful with organizing everything we needed.
